Purple sweet potato vine can be planted in different locations to give colour to the garden . It looks best in a hanging pot. because it is a fast growing vine and looks pretty when it hangs down. Although its a vine , it cannot cling and grow on moss stick on its own like money plant. To prepare hanging baskets the most important criteria is to keep it light and next is to keep it the potting soil moist for a long time so the potting soil can be 50% cocopeat and 50% vermicompost /leaf mould.
Cocopeat retains water and is very light. Vermicompost /leaf mould gives nutrition .
Propagation is very simple and by stem cutting.#sweetpotatovine#hangingbaskets#mitabishnoigardentips
