How to Keep Your Home Organized All Week Long Pin

You just got home from work and walked into a chaotic house. Dirty dishes in the sink, half-eaten oatmeal on the counter and an unmade bed… Netflix, your pajamas and a red glass are calling your name, but you feel a nagging guilt when you have a tendency to disorder. Sound familiar? How to keep your home organized during busy weeks is a challenge.

It is extremely important to build the foundations of a clean house when you have the time (thinkmain mission of the organizationyou will do on the weekend). But during the week, you want to interact with your family, relax and keep cleaning to a minimum.

That’s why I’m going to teach you how to keep your home organized with some simple daily organization habits that require little time. There is no need to spend hours maintaining an orderly home. With a few simple daily touches, you can clean up a bit while still enjoying your evening! This is where you have to start.

4 Mission of the home organization to commit to DAILY

1. Clean the counter.

How to Keep Your Home Organized - Declutter counter tops daily

It may seem like an obvious task, but it can be difficult. The most important isset your meter oncethen maintain them as well as possible every morning or evening. Choose a five-minute window in which you have free time. Believe me, as a mother, I know my spare minutes are scarce, but hear me out!

Take five minutes to do the following each day:

  1. Put away the dishes
  2. and load the dishwasher. If you don’t have a dishwasher, at least wash your dirty dishes to make your life easier later when washing.
  3. Use your space.
  4. Letters? Go through it as soon as it arrives and submit the items for them. Trinkets? Store them where they are out of sight, out of sight. (I use a “junk drawer” which organizes the chaos but serves as a place to store odds and ends.)
  5. Add a personal touch that makes you smile.
  6. Whether it’s to treat yourself to a small bouquet of flowers, to buy a nice frame to keep a special family photo or to show
  7. MacKenzie-Kids Coin
  8. , this will keep the counter bright and cheerful. It will also act as an incentive to keep your counter organized. You will love the finished look! Personally, I like fresh flowers.

How to Keep Your Home Organized - Quick Counter Clean Up Tips to Do DailyBONUS TIP – Grab a dried lemon and use it to wipe down your counter. Follow with a damp paper towel. It’s a natural way to keep your kitchen counter fresh and clean.

Save this for the weekend:How to organize your whole kitchen!

2. Prepare your bed.

“A messy bed equals a messy head.” That’s what my mom always told my sister and me when we were growing up when she begged us to make the bed. Here’s an easy task that will set you up for success during the day.

Don’t let the work of making the bed drag on. Do it immediately after waking up so that you don’t find excuses to put it off. Keep your bedding simple and create a lounging space you’ll be proud of in your bedroom.

Make a habit of making your bed every morning. If you want to keep your home organized throughout the week, this little organizing task will be the thing to get the momentum started.

3. Make sure all your belongings have a designated place.

How to Keep Your Home Organized - Using Baskets to Organize Easily Misplaced Items

Good luck keeping your home organized without leaving your stuff in a designated checkout location. As our days go by, objects change around our homes. Without any plan of what goes where, you’ll end up with everything everywhere!

The odds and ends can be the hardest to organize. Look for inexpensive baskets for small, hard-to-sort items. Every day, make sure makeup is back in the “cosmetics” basket, shaving cream in the “husband” basket, and 400 bobby pins find their way into their “hair accessories” basket. It only takes a few minutes to put things away when they have a special home.

Have a plan ready before you set off for the day to ensure everything is in the designated basket. This will ensure you don’t have a big mess to clean up over the weekend.

4. Keep an organized to-do list at home.

How to Keep Your Home Organized - Keep a Checklist of Organization To-Dos

You are busy. I get it. Not everyone can clean the June-Cleaver daily. There will be more important tasks that require more time and attention. Keep a home organization list that outlines tasks that need to be at the forefront of your mind.

This list serves as a reminder of what you can do when you have free time in your schedule.

Have fun with the paper you choose for your home organizer list. I love cute stationery. Whether it’s monograms or your favorite print, find something appealing. Cleaning out your closet in the summer doesn’t have to be fun, so make sure your list is on hand.

Keeping a clean home can be really simple if you incorporate such tidying habits into your daily routine. The hardest part is getting started! That’s why we recommend starting with something small every day, like making your bed. It really builds momentum throughout the day.

If your problem is how to keep a housecleaning, we also have advice for you:How to keep your house clean every day of the week.
