Multi-read content how to kill a spider without touching it

There are a few rare individuals who, for some strange reason, love spiders and even keep them as pets. Most of us rational humans don’t like them. What to love? They have long legs (and there are many species of them), they move quickly, they are hairy and look a lot like partridges.

If you’re like a lot of people and you find a spider in your house or worse because you’re careful while driving, I’m sure you’ll start to panic and worry. Find something solid to kill the spiders or have someone else do it. If you find too many spiders in your home, there is a possibility of a spider infestation, so you should callMarkham Pest Control Servicebefore the situation spirals out of control.

If the spiders don’t bother you (how is that possible?), you can release them into the “natural”. Well, good for you! If you’re like the others, we’ll show you the 9 best ways to kill spiders without touching them:

1. Use insect repellent

If spiders aren’t your thing (I bet they aren’t) or if you have something in commonSpider problem in your house, keep insect repellent handy. Many of these cans have nozzles a few feet away.

Spraying insecticides is one of the best ways to kill spiders without killing them because it means you don’t have to get too close. In the unlikely event that this doesn’t work, it will still slow the spider down, giving you some time to come up with a plan B.

2. Spider Suffocation

It’s not the best way to kill spiders, but it will get the job done. Put a drink on the spider and hope it chokes, and fast! I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to stare at a dead spider all afternoon. When he finally dies, you can grab some tissues, pick him up, and run to the bathroom, where you can easily rinse off his filthy body. Phew!

3. Spider SMS

When I see a spider, I go into panic mode. I automatically grab anything nearby that I can use to strangle him. For example, if I’m using a paper towel, I’ll make sure to use plenty of it so I don’t feel the spider crashing.

Other things you can use include shoes, sandals, boots, books, the bottom of a glass jar, really anything nearby. The last thing you want to do is give him a chance to run and hide. Then you have a real problem on your hands.

4. Use a piece of paper

For the more adventurous, here’s an idea: take a piece of paper, approach the spider (hope you’re brave) and hope it moves on the piece of water. You now have a piece of paper with a spider on it. Hurry up! Throw it out the window or run to your door and throw it away. Speed makes all the difference here.

5. Throw water on the spider

Did you know that spiders can’t swim? Now you do and you can use it to your advantage. If you don’t have anything nearby, but you do have water, pour it over the spider. You can kill the spider by drowning it. Then use the time it saved you to get something else that you can use to complete it once and for all.

6. Vacuum the spiders

There’s no way you want to touch the thing, so another great option is to vacuum it up. Vacuuming is one of the best ways to kill spiders without touching them. Remove the hose and suck that bad boy up right away. Make sure there is enough time to ensure the creature is dead.

The last thing you want is to open the vacuum and the exploding object is still alive! Once you’re sure it’s dead, clean your vacuum cleaner. You may never look at your vacuum cleaner the same way again, but hey, it did the job, didn’t it? That’s all that matters when it comes to killing spiders!

7. Place a container over the spiders

If you don’t want to do any of this, make it someone else’s problem. Call a friend or family member who isn’t afraid to kill spiders and ask them to do the action. You can turn away while they do. There is no blood on your hand and the problem is solved. Talk about win-win (except for the spider.)

8. Use hairspray

It sounds like an unconventional way to kill spiders, but it works both ways! The next time you encounter one of these creepy spiders, grab a bottle of hairspray and spray it on the spider. It doesn’t necessarily kill it, but it will immobilize it until you find something better to kill it with.

9. Buy Raid

Buying and having a Raid to spray on spiders is an extremely effective way to kill them, so make sure you always have some on hand. Spray it several times and it will die.

We hope these nine ways to get rid of spiders will help you calm down a bit the next time you come across them and deepen your knowledge of spiders.how to kill them.

See how to get rid of spiders! With these simple steps, you’ll be able to get rid of and kill spiders in your home.

***

In this video, we will show you how to get rid of spiders using the Solutions four step process.

With the warmer months upon us, it’s time to think about pest control. And as the bugs come out, so do the spiders. Spiders are an important part of the ecosystem and can help you with your own pest control, but a lot of the time we don’t want them around — especially brown recluses or black widows that often times deliver a fatal bite.

ID \u0026 INSPECTION:

Some of the most common species you may encounter are wolf spiders, orb spiders, jumping spiders, and the brown recluse and black widow. The good news is that the brown recluse and the black widow are the only life-threatening venomous spiders found in the United States, but that doesn’t mean other types won’t leave a nasty bite.

A lot of the time, identification and inspection go hand-in-hand because it can sometimes be difficult to determine what kind of spider you have. So when identifying a spider, note its size, its color, and its behavior.

Spiders are shy and prefer to stay hidden, so finding spiders around the home may be difficult. Check around your property for webs. Spiders tend to build them in undisturbed areas but typically they might be around ceilings, fixtures, next to windows, and corners of a room. Also check the attic and garage areas. Move things around to see if you can spot spiders and webs.

These steps are important because without knowing exactly where to treat and what to treat for, it can make spider control difficult. The good news is the products in our Spider Kit will eliminate almost any spider problem.

CONTROL:

The third step in the process is control.

The first thing you will want to do is declutter your house. Spiders typically hide in cluttered areas such as attics, garages, or basements. Do your best to throw out or re-organize as much as possible so that the spiders will be more out in the open. This will eliminate their harborage areas and make it easier to see them and apply these control techniques.

Next, we’ll use a product called Reclaim IT with a pump sprayer. Reclaim IT is a powerful insecticide concentrate that will help deliver a quick knockdown and long residual.

Spray outside around windows and doors, around porches, under patio coverings, and along eaves. Inside, spray along baseboards, in closets, and in garages and storage spaces.

After that, monitor spider activity by using Catchmaster 72MB glue boards. These are multi-insect and rodent glue boards that are perfect for capturing stray spiders that can be hard to find.

Lay these out in areas where you have seen spider activity such as in cabinets, closets, storage areas, garages, or attics. The spiders will walk across the boards and get stuck and can then be disposed of. These glue boards will also trap any other crawling pests.

Eliminate spider webs by using Web Out spray. Web Out is a low-toxicity formula designed to break down webs to make cleaning easier while preventing new webs.

Spray any spider webs that you see, usually in dark corners of rooms or along the eaves of a house. Clean up the web by using a broom or or a web duster head. This will discourage spiders from rebuilding their webs in those areas.

PREVENTION:

The final step of the process is prevention.

Keep the spiders away by spraying the perimeter of your home with Reclaim IT. Spray three feet up the structure and three feet out. This will create an insecticidal barrier that will keep spiders away.

Seal off any openings, cracks or crevices you find around your home with caulk.

Be diligent about knocking down any webs you might see.

And continue general pest control practices to keep other bugs away. Remember, insects are a spider’s food source, so if you can control them, you control the spiders.

If you follow these steps, we guarantee you 100% that you will get rid of spiders. Not only will you have eliminated spiders, but you will have controlled other pests too, leaving your property spider free.

This is the time of year that spiders big and small head into our homes for warmth, safety and somewhere to rest up over the Winter. We don’t notice the smaller ones but we can’t miss the big ones like this. ( latin name Eratigena domestica )

We always try to avoid killing a spider because they keep the fly/insect population at bay. So we will go out of our way to put them safely outside. The trick is how to catch them becasue they can move very very quickly. A piece of stiff thin card and a glass always does the business. Do not try and scoop them up in your cupped hands. they will always find a way to get out and drop to the floor and get under your sofa. Put the glass over them. Push the card slowly across the bottom of the glass allowing no chinks of light. Hold the card against the glass and tip it backwards so the spider falls to the bottom of the glass. The spider is now trapped. The inside of the glass is too smooth to climb up. Go outside and tip the spider into a flower bed, Job done.

Unfortunaatley spiders around the world are not so innocent. Their bites can kill. I read this in today’s Daily Mail.

‘ Script expert Andrea Bamford (pictured left) almost died after the near fatal bite on the set of army medic drama Our Girl as it was filmed in a Malaysian jungle. The stars of the show are said to be terrified after the incident – including Michelle Keegan , 30 (pictured right). A witness said: ‘She lost all colour in her face. After a couple of minutes she couldn’t walk. The medic on set only had antihistamine and paracetamol. ‘Luckily there was a crew member who used to work with the military and he said Andrea was going into shock. He took control and took her to hospital. They hooked her up on a drip and said if she was 15 minutes later she would have died.’
