With a small team of strong and ambitious helpers, you can complete this project in two or three weekends, but working alone at a leisurely pace, you’ll have a great summer.

Stones we used:

We assembled our yard from used pavers that we bought from a brickyard. Personally, the bricks look a little rough, tarred and well worn, but the whole thing is perfect. Next, we chose Messy Wisconsin Limestone for the border. The mess rounded the edges and gave the stone a worn look, complementing the rustic look of worn cobblestones.

You may not find the exact hardware we used locally; Check with local stone dealers to see what’s available when determining how to build your garden to your liking.

The cost varies according to the material chosen:

This patio costs about the same as high-quality hardwood flooring. However, the cost of patio stone varies greatly. Takepatio paving ideasbefore starting. Depending on your location, you could spend a lot more or less on how to build your patio style. Our yard costs just over $500.
